Koshys College Day

The college day celebration of Koshys Group of Institutions was held on 19/04/2011. It was a day packed with excitement as parents were invited to  witness the lamp lighting ceremony as well as the graduation ceremony of the passing out students.

The festivities began at 7.00 PM with a prayer song.

The auditorium was packed with students from Nursing, UG-  Management and  PG- Management. The teaching staff, Admin Staff and the parents and friends were also present to celebrate the college day.

Dr. Mariamma Varghese, the Ex vice Chancellor of SNDT University and Mr.Ravi Shankar CEO of K.K. Corporation and ISHO were the chief guests..Both the guests gave motivating speeches to live life to the fullest.Follow their dreams have a mentor to guide them .Live life with ethics.Never dissapoint their parents .The students life is important part of life where discipline is mandatory.

They also emphasized the overall development of students and should be ready to accept failures that appears in all walks of life.

The College day celebrations  initiated with lighting of the lamp by Mr.C.Koshy the Founder and Chairman of Koshys Group of Institution along with the other dignitaries Dr.Mariamma Varghese, Mr. Ravi Shankar, Dr. Santhosh Koshy, Mr. Sathish Koshy, Dr. Thandava Murthy, Prof. Rachel.P. George, Dr.Abraham Joseph and Mrs. Priya Antony.

The Principals Prof. Rachel .P. George of Nursing College and Dr. Abraham Joseph of Management College have presented Annual Report.

The golden moment of the College day celebration was witnessed through lamp lighting by 1^st Year Nursing Students.

The occasion has been remarkable and enjoyable with Nightingale Pledge.

The outgoing students of Nursing and Management have been honored with certification. 

Dr Thandav Murthy, Director of MBA and Mr Satish Koshy Director of Koshys Group of Institutions giving away the momentos to the new graduates.

 

 All the students who excelled in their academics and extracurricular activities which includes sports and cultural programme were with special prize distribution by the dignitaries.

The programme was concluded with vote of thanks and National Anthem and making further way for cultural programme by students who belong to  different countries was put up  with songs and  colorful dance.                                                 



Koshys Cultural Day

Koshys Cultural Day was celebrated with great aplomb and celebration. After anticipating it for the whole year the students were waiting for a chance to explode their creativity and talent. The auditorium was echoing with each teams encouraging their teammates  and booing their counterparts.

The event was kicked off with the lamp lighting ceremony by the heads of the college principals, director administrator etc.

Koshys being multi cultural the audience was treated with folk dances from Nepal to the butt shaking dances from Tanzania to our own bolly wood numbers to break dances etc..

In 2003 The Koshy's family embarked on its vision to create institutions which has a global appeal, quality infrastructure and a campus anyone could be proud of.

International students from every part of the globe are studying at Koshys. Koshy's also train students on nursing, having three hospitals within a radius of 3 kms from each other the students need not look far to be placed.

Koshy's is also in the process of tieing up with various colleges and institutions abroad to give their students the best of both worlds.

Koshy's have recently signed up with Indian Institute of Hardware Technology to provide short term courses to its students aspiring to get into certification courses.

Koshy's vision to be a global provider for quality education both in academics and medicine has seen it cross the international borders and setup a training centre in Cameroon along with its local partner Akale Professionals.

A place  so far from home yet so much like home...The African community in the college though under strife and war in the own countries live like brothers in the college hostels of Koshy's college. The malayalee students surrounded by coconut trees and Chetas "chai " never seem to miss home much...

The point is very simple...if you want to study in an international culture with the best of infrastructure  ...there is only one place to go and that is ....KOSHYS...
